Motorcycle Accident

At approximately 5:24 PM…

3200 block of Oro Grande. Motorcycle Flipped.

Officers and FD responded.

Motorcyclist down in the roadway unconscious. Motorcycle down with fuel and oil on the ground.

PD Update: Subject is breathing

Traffic redirected through Thunderbolt

Battalion Chief reported patient en route to the hospital by ambulance at 5:42 PM

All PD cleared the scene at 7:23 PM

PD Information – We have been told the operator was not wearing a helmet and sustained a significant head injury. He was unconscious with a strong pulse and agonal breathing. The crash team responded and took over the investigation.

From the comments below, we understand the rider succumbed to his injuries. We send our condolences to the friends and family.

    I heard that it was Matt? A husky Asian who rides a rat Chopper shovel.

    I’ve been in touch with close friends of his, last I heard, he wasn’t in good condition. Its definitely life threatening. I know the guy, he’s a tough one, but I hope to God he pulls thru. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and close friends.
