Fire Death Investigation in Desert Hills

MCSO PRESS RELEASE

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a fire investigation at a residence in the 3400 block of London Bridge Road Saturday (11/11) morning.

At about 7:03 a.m., deputies responded to the scene of a recreational vehicle fire.  Upon arrival, deputies contacted Desert Hills Fire personnel.  Fire personnel reported that they located a deceased male subject and female subject inside the RV.  Identifications and autopsy results are pending the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s Office.  This incident remains under investigation.

 




DESERT HILLS PRESS RELEASE

On the morning of 11-11-17, Desert Hills Fire District responded to a reported RV on fire at 3405
London Bridge Rd. Once on scene, firefighters found a large Class A motorhome with heavy fire
and smoke conditions in the front of the vehicle, and the front windows already broken out. Crews
attacked and extinguished the fire through the front windows of the vehicle. Heavy smoke
conditions were apparent throughout the RV.

After the fire was knocked down, firefighters opened the front door to make entry into the vehicle.
Two victims were located inside the vehicle and confirmed they had deceased. Mohave County
Sheriff’s (MCSO) deputies on scene were advised of the findings. The scene was then turned over
MCSO. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

    I watched them put out the fire and seen the bodies. All i can say is at least they went togeather and can life their afterlife togeather. It messes with me a little though i feel like if i was there 5 minutes earlier i could have helpedcthem exit the vehicle
