PRESS RELEASE: Smith’s Grocery Store Donates Water to Law Enforcement

Posted on Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 at 9:08 AM

Mohave County Sheriff’s Boating Safety Division was grateful to receive a donation of bottled drinking water from Smith’s Grocery store in Lake Havasu City. Smith’s General Manager Troy Pace donated four pallets of bottled water. This water is stored at the Lake Havasu Water Safety Center where several agencies who work on Lake Havasu are stationed. All of these agencies utilize this drinking water throughout the boating season on Lake Havasu. Without this generous donation from Smith’s Grocery, the drinking water would be paid for by local taxpayers.

Deputy Kyler Cox (center) presented a certificate of appreciation from Mohave County Sheriff’s Office to Smith’s General Manager Troy Pace. Representatives from the Mohave County Sheriff's Office Volunteer Boating Safety Unit, San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Marine Enforcement Unit, Lake Havasu City Police Department Boating Unit, and Arizona State Parks are also present in the photo showing gratitude to Smith's Grocery.
