PRESS RELEASE: Police Identify Body in Pima Wash

The Lake Havasu City Police Department has identified the body that was found in the Pima Wash, in the 2100 block of McCulloch Boulevard North, July 23, 2014, as that of 59-year old David Carroll Travis. Information from local citizens played a critical part in completing the identification of Travis.

The investigation determined that Travis was a local transient that frequented the downtown area and was known by several businesses in the area. The Mohave County Medical Examiner ruled the death as accidental due to environmental exposure.

Investigators have been unable to locate any next of kin for David Travis. If anyone has information that would assist investigators with locating and notifying family members of Travis call the Lake Havasu City Police Department at 928-855-1171.
