PRESS RELEASE: Lake Havasu City Police Investigate Armed Robbery

On Monday, August 4, 2014, at approximately 4:00 a.m., Lake Havasu City police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that just occurred at the Circle K store at 1791 Kiowa Avenue.

A white male entered the convenience store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the store employees. With a gun pointed at them a store employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The male suspect left the store and was seen getting in to the passenger side of a white colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Toyota. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Bureau were called-out to investigate the crime.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 5’10” – 6’00” with a slender build. The male suspect was wearing a black colored ski mask, a blue colored sweatshirt, black colored shorts and black colored socks with dark colored shoes. The male suspect was last seen getting in to the white colored vehicle that went west on Kiowa Avenue towards the lake.
