MCSO S&R Assist LHCPD In Locating Dementia Man

On Friday (3/2), approximately 1:00 am, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue were called to assist the Lake Havasu City Police Department in locating a 63-year-old male who had gone missing. Law enforcement was advised the male had dementia and some other minor health issues. He was reported missing by his girlfriend who had last seen him at his residence around 9:00 pm Thursday (3/1) evening. Searchers with the Lake Havasu Search and Rescue Unit were activated. A short time later, he was located approximately 2 miles away from his home. He was disoriented but in fair condition. He was transported back to his residence.
