Posted on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015 at 10:35 AM

This morning, February 4th, just after 6 AM Lake Havasu City Police Department responded to an Attempt to Locate (ATL) email sent from a California Law Enforcement Agency, after it was learned that the suspect worked out at a gym in our area.

57 Year Old Charles Stewart Duns, a retired Petaluma California Police Officer (1991) stalked and made threats against seven (7) victims ranging from current and former Petaluma Police Department Administrators, and the current Petaluma City Manager. Threats were taken seriously after Duns made a threat of “going Chris Dorner” on the victims.

Lake Havasu City Police Officers took extreme caution during the take down due to his prior law enforcement experience and knowledge shared through the ATL message of several handguns being registered to Duns. Officers were able to take Duns into custody without incident.
