On Sunday, October 29, 2017, at approximately 3:45 a.m., the Lake Havasu City Police Department was contacted by the La Paz County Sheriff’s Department to assist with a shooting investigation.

La Paz County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 8600 block of Riverside Drive at approximately 12:30 a.m., for a domestic dispute between a male and a female. The male suffered from a gunshot wound during the dispute and was transported to an area hospital with life threatening injuries.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit will be conducting the investigation due to one of the subjects involved being related to a La Paz County Sheriff’s Department official. The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available.

More info on this should revile more & I do hope HSF will share the final results of the investigation with us.
If he was the abuser & her life was in danger I say good for her.
However, if she’s the main abuser & shot him she needs to be prosecuted.
I won’t choose sides bc there isn’t enough known & both genders can be violently abusive.

I would like to thank the Lake Havasu Police Department for its prompt response. This is an example of cooperation between agencies.
