The Lake Havasu Firefighter Charities recently presented a check in the amount of $5000.00 to the Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation “After School Program”. The donated funds were part of the proceeds raised from the 2017 Pumpkin Festival hosted by the Lake Havasu Firefighters. The Pumpkin Festival is held each October and is the signature event of the Firefighter Charities. The Lake Havasu Firefighter Charities, is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to enhance the community and enrich the lives of our youth through support of programs and scholarships.

This October will mark the 7th year of the event, which has become a popular addition to the London Bridge Days celebration. The two day event which draws attendees from around the Tri-State area with games and attractions, is made possible by the efforts of the Parks & Recreation Department, an abundance of community volunteers, off duty firefighters and their family members.

More information on this years event will be released as details are finalized. If you are interested in supporting this event as a volunteer or through donations please reach out to the Firefighters at the phone number listed below.
