On 5/24/2013 while on patrol in the area of 3300 block of Chemehuevi Blvd, officers spotted a white Honda Civic parked. Officers had information that Morgan Brown was driving this type of vehicle and knew he was wanted for questioning in an aggravated assault case.. The officer ran the vehicle information through his in-car computer which showed a return to the subject. A record check on Brown through dispatch confirmed that Brown was still wanted for questioning. After watching the vehicle for several minutes, the vehicle drove away. The officer followed the vehicle, performing a traffic stop on it.

Brown was asked to exit the vehicle, to which he complied. Morgan advised the officer of the details of a fight that took place a month ago (report filed 4/25/2013). Due to Brown admitting that he was in a fight with the victim, Brown was arrested for Aggravated Assault. The vehicle was subsequently towed by Steve’s Towing. He was transported to the Lake Havasu City Jail and held for court.

Officers contacted the victim to inform him of Browns’ arrest. When asked, the victim stated he still has a dent in his face from the fight, and that doctors are waiting for the pain to go away before they attempt to fix any of the damage.

On 5/22/2013 Anna M. Selby, a Resident of Lake Havasu City, was arrested at Bluegrass Drive for False Information to a Police Officer and Criminal Nuisance after she was contacted for a Loud Noise/Juvenile Party Complaint and lied about being there after she told officers she was responsible for everyone inside the residence. She knowingly conducted or maintained the premise where persons were gathered for the purpose of engaging in unlawful conduct (underage consumption of alcoholic beverages).

Officers were dispatched to a Loud Noise Complaint. Dispatch advised that the RP said it was a Graduation Party and believed that subjects were underage and consuming alcohol. Upon arrival, officers noticed numerous cars parked along the street on both sides of Bluegrass up and down the street by the residence. There were about 30-40 cards parked in the area. Officers also noticed balloons tied to the fencing at the residence, and could see people walking in the light of the open side garage door. When officers got closer, young people were seen sprinting towards the open door, the subjects then ran inside and shut the door.

Officers were greeted by Anna Selby who told officers she was having a graduation party for her daughter, she was responsible for everyone inside the residence. They had a little fight outside just a few minutes ago but all was good now, the boys were separated and the one causing trouble left – she had to tackle him (and she showed her left calf by the knee was scraped up). She said the other was inside the house and was a little busted up but didn’t want medical attention and that she had it under control. She went on to say the kids were good kids and she wasn’t letting anyone leave drinking or driving. It was apparent to officers by her bloodshot eyes and odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath that she was intoxicated.

While standing in the driveway, officers noticed numerous beer bottles and beer cans laying all over the area. There were broken bottles right by the driveway and sidewalk leading to the front entrance. On the garage was a large banner stating “Congrats Class of 2013″, by the front door were more beer cans and bottles.

Selby sat on a chair near the front door and said she couldn’t get inside. When asked her name she asked “Why do you need that? You don’t need my name for anything.” Officers advised her they needed her name as a contact in case they had to return to the residence. She said she didn’t do anything wrong and she didn’t need to give her name. She then said she was just there to break up the fight and wasn’t at the house. She was reminded of her previous admissions to officers, how she stated she was responsible for all the kids there and was having a party. She then said she didn’t know who was there, and it was not her house. She said she could do whatever sh wanted and was just going to walk away and there was nothing officers could do about it. When she was told she was not going to go anywhere until they could find out what happened there, especially with the statement that a boy was injured in a fight, and that she too was injured and that for all officers knew she could have been involved in the fight because she had to tackle one of the boys to break it up…. she then stated that they couldn’t do anything to her and that she would have their jobs, she was leaving and she didn’t have to do anything.” It was then she was detained in handcuffs, yet she refused to give her name and got very belligerent and said she couldn’t be arrested for nothing. She was then again asked for her name to which she stated she was not going to give it, and that officers were going to make her life wonderful because she was going to have their job, she was going to ruin their lives over a graduation party. When she again stated she was going to leave and attempted to walk away from officers she was then escorted to a patrol car which provided her complementary transportation to LHCPD for booking and a PBT test which resulted in .125% BAC.

Another female adult (Colette Gardner) was arrested by another officer when she exited the residence.

Several photos were taken of the residence and all the beer bottles and cans around the residence, property, and street area.

Several plates of vehicles were checked at the residence and a couple of the Registered Owners were 19 years of age.

Two additional arrests on Teenagers leaving the residence who were under the age of 18 years old were made (DR#13-8012)

On 5/22/2013 an unknown male subject committed Theft at Albertsons Grocery Store in the 1900 block of N. McCulloch after taking approximately $153.45 worth of Liquor from the store without the permission or knowledge of the grocery story staff. The elderly subject, described as wearing a dark color Vietnam War Baseball Style Cap, took three bottles (1.75 L) of Jack Daniels Whiskey from the shelves, and a shopping basket. He then pushed the items through the exit without passing point of sale in a shopping cart, to his white/ivory colored vehicle.

DVD Surveillance has been submitted into evidence.

On 5/9/2013 officers were dispatched to Quartz Lane in Lake Havasu City reference a Probation Warrant for Cameron Meade who was presently at the location. When officers arrived, Mohave County Probation informed them that they responded with several probation officers in an attempt to locate Cameron Meade, who has a felony probation violation warrant (DR#13-7380). They were surprised when Meade answered the front door, he was detained pending confirmation of his identification. While conducting a sweep of the residence for Officer Safety a female was found hiding in the furthest south bedroom of the residence. The female, identified as Sarah Christianson, was found hiding in the bedroom closet.

Mohave County Probation was alerted reference Meade’s whereabouts by an LHC Officer who advised he was looking for Meade and Christianson regarding a Theft From Vehicle / Forgery Case (DR#13-7235). A search of Meade was done after his identity was confirmed, where a used syringe and spoon were found in a pouch located in the front right shorts pocket of Mead’s, the syringe containing dried crystal type residue.

While in the bedroom, where Christianson was located and Meade advised he had been staying, they viewed in plain view a check located on top of a backpack. Also viewed in plain view a D&B Wallet, brown in color, mentioned reference the Vehicle / Forgery Case. The Southwest Bedroom nightstand had a green leafy substance, believed to be Marijuana, in plain view.

Among the property taken off the person of Mead (front left shorts pocket) was found several cards, including a priority club rewards card, Lovelace Insurance Card, First Financial Credit Union Debit Mastercard, and a Sams Club Business Member Card. Also found was a folded business check made out to Cameron Meade for $402.67 (Check #1260). The cards and check were placed into evidence.

It was determined a search warrant would be obtained for the residence. All Officers exited the house. The scene was secured and soon thereafter Detectives arrived.

Observed in the front driveway of the residence was a white 1992 Ford Explorer. In plain view through the vehicle window into the back cargo area of the vehicle, two cards from First Financial Credit Until with other victim’s names on them. The victim was contacted by telephone and confirmed the cards were stolen out of her vehicle.

The Search Warrant was served to Sarah Christianson’s parents who own the home, whom were cooperative with detectives due to their having asked Sarah to move out due to her drug use. Several photos were taken, items confiscated, and entered into evidence.

On 5/15/2013 Noel K. Glasoe, a resident of Lake Havasu City, allegedly committed Child Abuse by slapping her two year old son, and yelling and screaming profanities at him. Officers dispatched to Winterhaven Drive for a Possible Child Abuse Complaint, were advised by dispatch the RP could hear the female tenant Noel Glasoe, screaming at her two year old son. The RP advised Glasoe has a personality disorder and has outbursts. The RP said she was awakened by hearing Noel screaming at the two year old to go to the bathroom. RP said she could hear Noel slapping him. Dispatch also advised they could hear the female yelling at the child, “Why in the F_ _ _ K are you even up?”. The RP could hear the female throwing things around in the apartment. Dispatch advised they could hear the female telling the child he “… is so F–King Stupid”. RP could hear the slapping of the child again. Dispatch could hear the child crying. They advised the female just told the child to go to hell.

The grandmother was contacted and responded from Desert Hills to pickup the 2 year old child and to spend the night with her. 26 Evidence Photos were taken between the child and the apartment.

On 5/20/2013 Morgan Chambers, a Resident of Lake Havasu City, was arrested in the area of Thunderbolt Avenue at Southwind Drive for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia after he was contacted as a passenger in a vehicle during a civil traffic stop and a search of the vehicle was conducted a black pipe (AKA “Tooter”) with burnt residue and a small piece of foil were found where Morgan was sitting. A syringe was also found underneath the same passenger seat.

A search of Bakers’ backpack revealed Baker to be in possession of a usable amount of Marijuana and a record check revealed him to have no motorcycle license despite having been stopped on a black 2008 Yamaha 1000 CC motorcycle which failed to stop at a stop sign at Winston Drive and Saratoga Avenue.

Officers responded to find Duplanti’s Mercury Grand Marquis sitting on top of 3-5 large rocks/boulders with 3-4 wheels of the ground, the female still in the drivers seat with the engine running.

On 5/19/2013 officers on patrol in the 3300 block of Chemehuevi Blvd observed a male subject operating a motorcycle with a small child (approximately 2-4 years old) sitting in front of him. The child was not wearing a helmet. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the motorcycle at the intersection of Chemehuevi Blvd and Saratoga Ave. A license check of Brians was performed and dispatch stated it was suspended.

Since the owner of the motorcycle was unable to be contacted to pickup the vehicle, it was towed by Quality Towing.

He was contacted across the street where he was found to be highly intoxicated and only 19 years of age.

Between 5/17/2013 and 5/18/2013 unknown suspect(s) committed criminal damage by paintballing several residences in the 900 block of Pueblo Drive.

Numerous broken/unbroken paintball were found on the side of the road near the wash that was to the north of the Reporting Victim’s residence. The paintballs appeared to be the same as the ones used during the incident.

Kiowa Blvd. for DUI, DUI above a .08 and Extreme DUI after she was contacted as the driver of a 2004 Subaru Sedan and the investigation revealed that she was operating the vehicle under the extreme influence of alcohol. At the stop location, a PBT resulted in a .106 – At the jail, the Intox-8000 revealed a .180 / .190 Blood Alcohol Content.

The vehicle was released and towed by Camel Towing.
