“He [the suspect] is my coworkers’ ex and came looking for her at my home. She’s a victim of domestic violence and came to stay with me. I called after he showed up at my home looking for her. He was trying to come in my home to drag her out. My boyfriend stepped in and told him to leave. He refused and punched my boyfriend in the face. That’s when the altercation happened. The perpetrator is currently in the ICU.”
