This morning at just after 5 AM a call from a homeowner of an address in the 2300 block of Constellation Drive reporting they heard a pop, and about 30 minutes later could smell what they described as “burning electrical”.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and investigated.
Truck 1 reported that there was no smoke, and the smell of electrical was dissipating. They felt they could handle the call and all other engines that were staged were cancelled.
The issue was determined to be a problem with the water heater. Fire Department disconnected the water heater and advised the homeowner.
